About Social Stylists
Have you ever seen a crazy trend on the runway and thought “Who is going to wear that?”
SocialStylists was created by people who love fashion that wanted a place to discuss what is really in style and the trends that will fit into our lives. Not everything that comes down the runway, or looks great in a magazine, translates to real life. But how do we determine what will and won’t work? Our friends have always been there to prevent us from making fashion faux pas.
Today time and distance make it difficult to get together with the people we like to shop with. We missed our friends’ advice and perspective. We decided to design a site that would allow us to connect with our friends, as well as make new ones, so that we could shop together online and exchange ideas and advice.
We are going to let the community decide what direction the site takes – more shopping, more connecting, or more informing, you tell us. Like any conversation with friends, the direction can take several turns and end up in unexpected places. We are approaching the site in the same way by letting you determine where it goes. We encourage everyone to voice opinions and ideas about the site, so let us know what you think.
